I'm Karen and I'm a Los Angeles–based product designer with a background that spans animation, visual design, and real estate operations. That mix has shaped how I work: I bring visual storytelling instincts from my time in character design and creative roles, systems thinking from coordinating complex real estate workflows, and a growing focus on designing products that make complicated things feel simple. I'm currently building my UX craft through Designlab UX Academy, with a particular interest in reducing friction and creating experiences that are as clear as they are considered.
